Obituary of Mary Josephine Kady

Mary Josephine Kady, 91, of Edison, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 with her family by her side. Born in Highland Park, she was a resident of Edison for 60 years. Mary loved the outdoors, going to Wildwood and crabbing. She loved her pets; Poncho the ferrit, Minie the cat and Chipper and Chopper the parakeets.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, William; brothers, Bruno Masternack and Anthony Masterniak; and sisters, Stella Housler, Fran Meseroll and Helen Piper.  She is survived by her children, Stephen Kady and his wife Mary and William Kady and his wife Arlene; grandchildren, Tammy Kady and Sheri Kady; along with 4 great grandchildren, Anthony, Gavin, Kyle and Kaylee Rose. 

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 4-7PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10AM at Guardian Angels R.C. Church, Edison. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
