Obituary of Carmela Costa

Carmela Costa, 102, of Edison passed away Sunday September 17, 2017 at home. Born in Brooklyn, she in Highland Park before moving to Edison where she spent most of her life. Carmela worked as a secretary at Revlon for 28 years before retiring.  She was a parishioner of St. Matthew’s Church, Edison.

Carmela was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Costa. She is survived by her son, Peter Costa of Freehold; her daughter, Mary Ann Costa of Highland Park; and her grandchildren, Jennifer and Kyle. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 9:30AM at St. Matthew’s Church, Edison. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carmela’s name can be made to St. Matthew’s Church, 81 Seymour Ave, Edison, NJ 08817.
