Obituary of Katharina Weisz

Katharina Weisz, 88, formerly of Edison, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 at Somerset Woods Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Somerset. Born in Klein Betskenek, Romania, she came to New Brunswick and was a resident of Edison for 58 years.

Mrs. Weisz was a member of the German American Club of New Brunswick. She was a parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park and enjoyed time spent gardening and taking walks. She was devoted to her family and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her husband Peter Weisz in 2000, her parents Nikolaus and Elizabeth Welz, siblings Nikolaus, Hanz, Maria, and her son in-law A.J. Kuehn. Surviving are her children John Weisz and wife Diane of North Carolina, Kathy Kuehn and Ted Trynock of Virginia, and Michael Weisz and wife Lisa of Franklin Park; and two grandchildren Jenna and Nicholas Weisz.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 18 at 9:30 am at Boylan Funeral Home 188 Easton Ave.,New Brunswick followed by a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Highland Park. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 17 from 2-5 pm at the funeral home.
