Mark J Fifick, 60, of Edison passed away peacefully on July 19, 2017 at John F Kennedy Medical Center in Edison. He was born in New Brunswick and was a lifelong Edison resident. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years as a Mail Carrier in Edison, before his recent retirement. He was a communicant of St Thomas the Apostle Byzantine Church in Rahway. He was an avid JETS fan. Mark is predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Anna Fifick and his brother Myles. Mark is survived by his wife of 26 years Joan Fifick; his son Andrew; his daughter Samantha; his brothers Michael, Robert and his wife Lori and Nick; his sisters Maryann Fonzone and her husband Chuck, Melanie Soper, and Annie Fifick and her companion Amelia Panico; many nieces and nephews; and 5 great nieces and nephews; sister-in-laws Lucille Lemongelli and Peggy Fabiano; and family friend Glenn Moscatello. Visitation will be at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison, NJ from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Sunday July 23, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am, Monday July 24, 2017 at Boylan Funeral Home. A Mass is scheduled for 10:30 am at St Thomas the Apostle Byzantine Church, 1410 Church Street, in Rahway, NJ. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen.
