Rose Bharath-Jeffers, 72, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, NJ. She was born in Trinidad, and was most recently a resident of Somerset. Rose enjoyed gardening, especially growing roses and working in her vegetable garden. She loved politics and enjoyed spending time surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband Cecil Jeffers. Surviving are her daughter Sharon Seiwert and her husband Robert of Somerset, her sons Gregory Wajad Ali and his wife Sharmaine of Apopka, FL, Ronald Wajad Ali and his wife Kimberly of Apopka, FL, and Terrance Wajid Ali and his wife Nami of Orlando, FL; her sisters Gladys Barath of Trinidad, and Slyvia Bharath and Annette Persad both of NY; 4 grandsons: Razeem, Christopher, Jonathan, and Joseph. She was also Aunt and Great Aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 pm Thursday, July 13 at St. Matthias R.C. Church in Somerset. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
