Francis "Frank" John Blachnik, 65, of New Brunswick passed away peacefully on June 25, 2017 at his home. He was born on November 21, 1951, the son of Francis and Loretta (Greger) Blachnik. Frank worked as a Radio Disc Jockey at multiple radio stations in New Jersey. He also worked as a Facilities Planner at Merck in Rahway, NJ. Frank was a lifelong Roman Catholic. He loved his dogs and enjoyed 50's and 60's music. Frank will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Frank was predeceased by both his parents. He is survived by his sister Loretta Donegan and her husband William, niece Michelle Donegan and her husband William Maciejewski, nephew Br. James Donegan, OFM Cap., 1 grandnephew and 1 grandniece. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 7. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church, New Brunswick, NJ at 11 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
