Daniel James Morris, 86, died on Wednesday August 14th in Palm Bay, FL. Born in New Brunswick, he was a lifetime resident of the city until his relocation to Florida two years ago. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a route sales representative with Tasty Baking Company. He was a member of the New Brunswick Elks Lodge. He is survived by his large, loving family: wife of 65 years Ethel "Dee" Morris; his son Daniel and wife Sally of NC; daughters Karen Dominguez and husband Antonio of Melbourne, FL., Lisa Salvati and husband Carl of Delray Beach, FL., Diane Boylan and husband Thomas of Milltown, as well as 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A mass of Christian Burial will take place 10 am Monday, August 19th at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church in New Brunswick followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Ave., New Brunswick, on Sunday, August 18th from 5-7 pm.
