Alexandrina Costescu, 88, died on Thursday June 27th in Fort Mill, SC. Born in Moroieni, Romania, she lived in Highland Park for 28 years before moving to South Carolina in 2005 to join her daughter and son-in-law. Prior to retirement she was employed with Revlon in Edison. Alexandrina was predeceased by her loving husband Adrian in 2003 and her parents Gheorghe and Steliana Banescu. She is survived by her daughter Claudia Ciuca and husband Traian of Fort Mill, SC; her sister Elena Herbei and husband Gheorghe; her niece Alice Aciu and husband Cristian, their children Jenny-Lee and Andrew; her niece Diana Arboleda and husband Julio. A funeral mass will take place at 11 am on Tuesday, July 2nd at St. Andrew Memorial Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 280 Main St., South Bound Brook with interment to follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, July 1st from 6pm-8pm at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave., Edison.
